On October 29-30, 2023, the 2023 China Steel Structure Conference and the sixth Council of the eighth session of the China Steel Structure Association were successfully held in Chengdu. The Key Technology of ETFE Roof Membrane Structure Engineering Design and Construction of Chongqing Longxing Football Stadium, developed by Wanhao Space Structure independent innovation, won the "Technology Innovation Award of China Steel Structure Association" in this conference.
Chongqing Longxing Football Stadium is located in Longsheng New Town, Liangjiang New District. The project covers an area of 303 mu with a total construction area of 166,900 square meters. Set up a competition area, media area, broadcast area, business operation area and audience area and other functional areas, is the first professional football stadium in Chongqing, can accommodate about 60,000 people to watch.
As one of the professional football stadiums in China, Chongqing Longxing Football Stadium, from design to construction, has finally come to what it is today after full investigation, repeated demonstration, careful modification and continuous optimization. The construction scale and construction level of Longxing Football Stadium have reached the world class and can meet the requirements of the World Cup semi-final. At the same time, the stadium was designed so that the distance between the front row of seats and the pitch boundary was controlled to the minimum required by FIFA. It is worth mentioning that the bench of the team is close to the spectator stands, and there is no interval in the middle, which also means that the audience sitting in the front row may even hear the team's tactical arrangement, communication between players, and Shouting.
The stadium takes "Chongqing temperament football palace" as the design concept, combines with the dragon culture of Longxing Ancient town, forms the design concept of "Dragon whirlwind", and integrates the concepts of "fire phoenix", "flywheel" and "windmill".
"Fire Phoenix" embodies the combination of traditional culture and the courage to struggle, hot and upward urban temperament; "Flywheel" symbolizes the beautiful vision of Chinese football and Liangjiang New Area taking off; "Windmill" shows the young, energetic and friendly characteristics of football.
The science and technology "coat" of Longxing Football Stadium is a combination of ETFE cable film and metal roof, consisting of four hyperbolic ETFE ribbons and inner rings, which run through the roof and facade. The project has a total of 1170 tons of secondary steel structure, ETFE film (soft glass) 29,500 square meters, and 708 steel cables, which is like a layer of "gauze" for the football field.
High permeability ETFE film can increase the lighting inside the stadium, but also play a role in beautifying the appearance, and ETFE film is not easy to stick to ash, greatly reducing the manual maintenance in the later period.
Longxing Football Stadium facade, or a large LED screen, is the largest single LED lattice transparent screen in China, after the light is "shining star in the night sky", with transparent ETFE film material, give a beautiful dream, dynamic shock audiovisual feast, let the crowd boiling, praise, have raised the mobile phone frozen amazing moment!
