The most difficult to swivel bridge with the largest cantilever span in China has set a new record!

  On April 27, Shenyang Kunshan West Road and 304 National Road connected project turned cable-stayed bridge, in the difficult turning of Shenyang, Liaoning. The longest cantilevered bridge with the longest span and the longest span in China has a total length of 262.6 meters and a weight of 15,000 tons, setting a new record for many domestic cable-stayed bridge swivels.

  At 8:29 pm on April 27th, Beijing time, the turnable cable-stayed bridge connecting the Shenyang West Kunshan Road and the 304 National Road began to turn. The bridge has created the miracle of the longest swivel cantilever and the longest span in China, spanning 10 main railway lines leading to North China. It was successfully turned on the railway throat artery and once again set a new record for the rotation of the domestic cable-stayed bridge. . After the traffic is completed and opened to traffic at the end of August, citizens can drive along Kunshan West Road to the west to reach State Highway 304. The original one-hour drive will be shortened to 7-8 minutes.

  The swivel cable-stayed bridge is a steel structure assembled single-tower single-cable cable-stayed bridge. The main girder and main tower are made of steel boxes. The steel box girder of the main bridge has a total length of 275 meters and a width of 31 meters. It is a two-way 6-lane . Since the bridge spans 10 railway lines including Shenshan, Jingha, Jingqin, and Jingshen Passenger Dedicated Lines, the seventh project of China Railway 9th Bureau Group adopts the steel box girder cable-stayed bridge swivel construction method. The main bridge and main tower are shared. It is divided into 44 sections, the center beam is 2.5 meters high, the box beam top plate is 31 meters wide, and the steel box beam is 114 tons. The steel tower of the main bridge has a total height of 72.5 meters and is divided into 11 sections. The steel tower has a maximum weight of 100 tons. The steel box beams are assembled and the main tower is constructed in a direction parallel to the railway. The construction has a turning angle of 45 degrees, the main bridge turning weight is 15,000 tons, and the total turning length is 275 meters.

  The bridge transfer lasted about 80 minutes. After the rotation, the viaducts on both sides were accurately docked. The cantilever length and span of this swivel cable-stayed bridge have broken the record of similar domestic bridges.

Why must we turn around?

  Through the animation, you can see that on the west side of the construction area is the railway hub. Ten main railway lines from Northeast to North China pass through here, and each line usually passes by train every 10 minutes. The best way to build a bridge without affecting traffic is to build the bridge on the side of the railway first, and then put it in place by turning.

  It can also be seen from the model that the swivel bridge has a long forearm and a short rear arm, which brings great difficulty in construction. The construction unit uses a measurement robot to automatically track and cooperate with the hydraulic continuous jack to pull the bridge to turn, which solves the counterweight and weighing. Problems, and ensure the rotation posture and rotation speed, and guide the bridge to accurately position the rotation.

  Another reason is that its rotating device is very advanced. Its driving device is at the base of the bridge pier, and the workers call it "the swivel ball hinge". It is mainly divided into two parts: upper and lower spherical hinges, and their contact surface is a smooth spherical structure. The upper and lower spherical hinges can rotate with each other, so as to realize the bridge rotation and load-bearing functions. In order to allow tens of thousands of tons of bridges to move, stabilize, and turn accurately, technicians adopted high-performance non-metallic composite materials, high-precision spherical processing and other technologies, which not only significantly reduced the friction coefficient, but also met the design of large bearing capacity The requirement solves the problem of large bearing capacity and flexible rotation of large-tonnage bridge swivel devices.
