A car shed with charging piles that can "charge" people

COBE, in collaboration with E.ON drive & cleaver, has designed a new electric vehicle charging station in Scandinavia. The charging station not only promises to charge the car within 15 minutes, but also provides rest and spiritual charging for drivers and passengers while charging the car.

The new charging station is located in the center of the E20 highway in Fredericia, Denmark. This is the first of its kind, part of a network of 48 ultra high speed electric vehicle charging stations to be built along the Scandinavian highway.

The charging station consists of a series of "tree" structures. It is characterized by the crown of the tree, filtering sunlight and providing sun shading and protection, while defining the green environment and calm atmosphere. This is a strong contrast with the traditional gas stations, where there are long lines of vehicles, full of the smell of gasoline and automobile exhaust.

Due to the modular design concept, the station is scalable, and a "tree" can easily become a complete "forest" as required. The charging station is constructed of certified wood and concrete, with solar panels on the top and trees, grass and other plants selected in cooperation with the Danish Society for conservation of nature to enhance biodiversity around the station. All components of the building can be decomposed into usable and recyclable materials. The selection of wood as building materials further emphasizes the sustainable design of the building.

The first ultra fast charging station provides an easy experience and can charge four electric vehicles at the same time. The Frederica charging station consists of 12 "trees" with a total canopy area of 400 square meters and a combination of open and closed roof slabs. Whether it is a new charging station or an upcoming charging station, its purpose is to provide users with a pleasant, peaceful and Zen like feeling, and even hope to make the road safer.
