The optical properties of PTFE film have brought many advantages to the venue. Its light transmittance is 13%, which can gently introduce natural light into the interior of the venue, reducing the need for daytime lighting. At the same time, its thermal energy reflectivity is as high as 73%, which can effectively prevent the fading of interior decoration materials and reduce the operating costs of the venue. PTFE roofs also perform well in rainwater management and shading. Through simulation calculations of rainwater and sunlight, the roof was designed to be high in the middle and low in the periphery, achieving optimal drainage and shading effects.

The construction difficulty of PTFE roofing project is extremely high, especially its irregular double curved surface shape and large-scale membrane structure installation. To ensure construction accuracy, the project team adopted model reconstruction technology based on 3D scanning, achieving precise cutting of top membrane materials and lower ceiling aluminum plates.
