The Estadio Diablos is intended to become a hub for baseball culture in Mexico. Its design emphasizes inclusivity and social engagement, while also incorporating Mexican traditions. The goal of this tensile structure building is not only to provide a venue for sporting events, but also to create a landmark facility that can revitalize the passion for baseball in the country.

The roof is the most prominent feature of this building. The roof fabric uses PTFE membrane materials and lightweight roof structure uses steel materials.It represents a classic combination in modern large-span construction. Integrating a rainwater collection system into the design is an important aspect of sustainable building practices. The rainfall patterns in Mexico City make the collection of rainwater a practical and meaningful endeavor.

PTFE membrane materials possess high strength, durability, self-cleaning properties, and excellent light-blocking capabilities. They can effectively filter out ultraviolet rays, creating a comfortable lighting environment inside the venue. The “Devil’s Tail” design of this encourage environmental architecture is both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional.

This stadium is distinguished by its unique trident-shaped tensile roof design, which creates an open-air arena atmosphere. The stadium also incorporates community functions; the surrounding public plaza is designed to serve as a year-round community market, with the aim of fostering social interaction and helping residents generate sustainable income.
