First-day discussion laid the foundation for cooperation

On the first day of the visit, exchange activities were held at Wanhao Group conference rooms. The group's chairman discussed core product R&D, manufacturing and quality control standards for large sports venues, shared Wanhao's relevant cases and demonstrated the group's comprehensive capabilities and industry experience.

Inspect the production facility in depth

After theoretical discussions, the delegation visited Wanhao's production facility, toured workshops, observed key product manufacturing procedures, exchanged technical views with Wanhao's technical team, and praised its production and management system.

Specialized technical exchange meeting

After the factory tour, both parties returned to the conference room for in-depth technical discussions on construction methods and structural optimization of Uganda’s Mandela National Stadium project, reaching preliminary consensus on key technical aspects, laying a solid technical foundation for project cooperation and ensuring its smooth progress.

Visit model projects to expand construction ideas

The delegation visited the WuXi Olympic Sports Center and Yuhang International Sports Center in WuXi, examining their steel structure systems, membrane structures and overall design layout. They exchanged ideas, learned advanced concepts and proven practices for large sports venue construction and design, to provide insights for optimizing Uganda's Mandela National Stadium project.

After two days of on-site observation and exchanges, the delegation recognized the high construction standard of these two venues. Their construction methods, technical systems and attention to detail provided reference for the construction of Uganda’s Mandela National Stadium and boosted confidence for the implementation of bilateral collaborative projects.

Refine construction details and finalize the cooperation plan

On the last day of the trip, the delegation returned to the Wanhao production facility to view curtain wall samples. The technical team explained curtain wall manufacturing techniques, custom fabrication capabilities and on-site construction solutions. The two parties discussed construction process details per the requirements of Uganda’s Mandela National Stadium, confirmed key points, finalized subsequent construction rules, and established the project's further development direction.

The four-day inspection exchange ended. The delegation from Uganda's Mandela National Stadium learned about Zhejiang Wanhao Group's corporate strength, technical capabilities, production capacity and project implementation experience through meetings. Both sides reached consensus, refined plans, and laid a solid foundation for the project's high-quality implementation and construction.
