Hangzhou Boduo Sen Valley is an industrial park developed by the professional project team of Zhejiang Wanhao, focusing on "milk tea" as its main business. The atrium canopy design was completed by the renowned domestic "Elephant Architectural Design Institute". Its design concept draws on traditional Chinese tea culture and the symbolic meaning of the owner's "milk tea" business. The design incorporates the layered and scattered peaks and valleys unique to tea mountains, with the valleys stretching and curving like the water towns and rivers in the Jiangnan region.

For the tea mountain roof, high self-cleaning ETFE (commonly known as "soft glass") is used, with gradients of different green prints running through it. The color transitions from the tender green of spring to the deep green of autumn. The ceiling at the bottom also uses PTFE fabric membranes in different green shades that echo and symmetrically match the color of the ETFE roof. The shapes are interspersed, increasing from low to high and from small to large. In the middle valley area, which stretches and curves, pure transparent double-layer ETFE air cushions are used, creating a bright and transparent effect with unique and distinctive shapes.

To meet the requirements of the shape and appearance, the main structure of the canopy adopts a complex combination of primary and secondary steel structures. The structures intersperse, overlap, collide, merge, and share with each other, making it an extremely challenging project in the membrane structure industry over the past decade. The secondary steel structures combined with the roof ETFE membrane and ceiling PTFE fabric membrane are arranged in staggered patterns with different colors, forming symmetrical responses. The bright and transparent double-layer air structure in the middle adds vitality to the project's final effect.

The atrium of Boduo Sen Valley has become a flexible and versatile space. On weekdays, it serves as an outdoor seating area for shops, while retaining the possibility of being expanded to accommodate gatherings and events such as exhibitions. Under the coverage of the canopy, terraces are extended from the interior of the outer corridors surrounding the original building's inner facade, becoming a natural extension of the indoor space and enriching the originally regular square space. The careful optimization of the corridor corners makes the walking experience more interesting. Inside the courtyard, vegetation is added around the theme of "Sen Valley" (Forest Valley), which together with the "tea mountains" creates a natural and warm atmosphere.
