With a total construction area of 9,770 square meters, the Huzhou Anji Project covers a 22-story elderly apartment coverall building and a low-rise public service area. Above the open space in the atrium, the ETFE air-pillow commercial sky curtain, meticulously created by Wanhao shines brilliantly. Since the air supported structures kicked off, the team has adhered to a persistent pursuit of quality. From the conception of every detail in the design to the strict control during the construction process, every link has followed extremely high standards.
The ETFE film awning a light transmittance of up to 95%. This feature allows sunlight to pour evenly into every corner of the building, creating a bright space for the elderly that feels as if they are in nature. At the same time, the excellent thermal insulation performance of the ETFE canopy membrane not only effectively reduces the loss of indoor heat but also significantly cuts down on air conditioning energy consumption, fully embodying the concept of green living supported by technology. In addition, by adjusting the thickness and color of the coating, intelligent sunshade is achieved, providing a more comfortable indoor environment for the elderly and meeting their needs for a better living environment.
The tension canopy is based on a steel structure architecture foundation, with the single-layer reticulated shell steel skeleton adopting a biomimetic tree-like structure. It consists of multiple main trunks and numerous branch steel beams forming a mechanical network, which not only carries heavy self-weight but also endows the building with a light visual tension.
