In the field of architectural membrane structures, the Boduo sen Valley ETFE corridor project is considered one of the most challenging constructions in recent years. This canopy redefineds the possibilities of modern membrane architecture with its unprecedented technical challenges and artistic expression.

The project's most significant technical highlight is its intelligent double-layer ETFE air pillow system, which adjusts the air pressure through an intelligent control system to adapt to the seasonal climate changes in Hangzhou, ensuring structural stability. What's more astonishing is that the design team drew inspiration from Hangzhou's tea culture, transforming the undulating "tea mountain" imagery into the form language of the membrane structure. The air pillows of the membrane structure creats a continuous wave-like curve,Just like layered tea mountains.while the PTFE mesh outlines the veins of the tea leaves as they unfold, presenting a translucent emerald hue under sunlight.

ETFE membrane structures have become the core material of this project due to their unique advantages: they are only 1% as heavy as equivalent glass, significantly reducing structural loads; they have a UV transmittance rate of up to 95%, providing natural light for the vegetation below; they have excellent self-cleaning properties, with the surface fluorine coating making it difficult for dust to adhere; and the double-layer inflatable structure design further achieves the dual functions of insulation and thermal preservation, reducing energy consumption by 40% compared to traditional fabric roof materials.

As the core contractor of the project, Wanhao has successfully created a rare ETFE air pillow corridor canopy in China with its outstanding membrane structure and canopy steel structure technology. This masterpiece of membrane structure, which integrates cutting-edge technology with Eastern aesthetics, is not only a contemporary interpretation of Hangzhou's tea culture but also sets a new benchmark for membrane structure engineering.
