From a distance, Longxing Football Stadium resembles a blooming camellia. The design team delved into the unique characteristics of the Chongqing landscapes and used parametric modeling to optimize the shapes of the dome stadium. By combining smooth curves that move in various directions—such as converging, rotating, and rising—the team created a unique landmark that reflects the culture of the city as well as the spirit of football.

The "Transparent Giant Crown" roof structure integrates four double-curved ETFE membrane and steel cable structure with an inner metal ring structure. Its core technology features millimeter-grade ETFE membrane with 95% light transmittance, allowing grass to grow naturally while reducing annual lighting energy consumption by 30%. With a wind pressure resistance of ≥2.4kPa, it withstands Chongqing's variable climate.

The shade sail installation of the large-scale membrane structure represented the biggest challenge of the project. The construction team used BIM technology to ensure that the errors remained within the range of ±3 millimeters. The completed cable-membrane structure creates a 360-degree, column-free space, enhancing the flexibility of the venue; its utilization rate exceeds 90%. At night, the intelligent LED lights change color in sync with the rhythm of the events, highlighting the features of the cable structure building.

As a key project in chongqing, the Longxing Football Stadium has stimulated commercial investment in the surrounding areas. Moreover, the green technologies employed in its construction have set new standards for the industry.
