The Shanghai Integrated Circuit Design Industrial Park focuses on chip design, research, and development innovation. The project awarded this time is responsible for the construction of the ETFE air cushion system in the core area of the industrial canopy. Once completed, it will become a landmark landscape of the park. The project has extremely high requirements regarding the durability, sealing performance, light transmittance, as well as wind and earthquake resistance of the materials used. Its aim is to create a green building that is technologically advanced, practical, and low-carbon, providing an excellent environment for research and development activities as well as office use.

ETFE commercial canopy is lightweight and highly strong, weighing only 1% of the same area of glass. This reduces the structural burden, making it ideal for large-span buildings. Its light transmittance can be adjusted between 50% and 95%, ensuring good lighting while providing protection against ultraviolet rays, creating comfortable lighting environments. It also boasts excellent weather resistance, tolerance to acid rain, and protection against ultraviolet radiation, resulting in a long service life. Its excellent thermal insulation properties help reduce air conditioning energy consumption, contributing to green and low-carbon operations.
