The facade image of the complex is unified by isomorphism, and the modern Jiangnan urban settlement is created through the "sea of clouds" atmosphere.
Hangzhou West Railway Station makes full use of the roof resources of the station building, laying 7,540 400Wp monocrystal silicon photovoltaic modules, covering an area of 15,000 square meters, with an installed capacity of 3 MW. Viewed from the sky, this magnificent supersized railway passenger station looks like a cloud. At night, the blue skylight looks like a "star of the sea", embedded in the roof of the West station.
One of the most remarkable designs of the West Station hub house is the "cloud Waiting Hall" : Cross skylights bring natural light into the station house. Light has not only become a "sharp weapon" for cloud Hall to create a sense of "in the cloud" atmosphere, but also cleverly turned into a "lighthouse" to guide people in the direction. "The cross skylight is arguably the most prominent symbol of the West Station. The design of this form is not only related to the intention of the cloud, but also functional considerations.
In the traditional railway station, the indoor space is mostly simple, which is opened through the Yungu station yard and the cross skylight, creating sufficient light conditions for the passengers waiting indoors. Under the glass of the cross skylight, a shading film is also added, so that the sunlight is not direct, but diffuse reflection into the waiting hall to "diffuse". With the texture like snowflake superimposed on the perforated plate of the ceiling of the roof, the whole waiting layer looks like floating on the cloud, light and transparent.
The waiting hall is about 310 meters long from north to south, 230 meters wide from east to west, and 78 meters wide from the pillar-free space. The cross skylights on the roof float like clouds, and the light diffuses into the whole waiting hall as if from the clouds.
The Ferrari SK20 high transmittance membrane (Tv%=47%) is installed under the cross skylight of Hangzhou West Railway Station, and the sunlight permeates the whole waiting hall through the membrane surface. SK20 film material made of glass fiber substrate + silicon coating process, diffuse transmission light is bright cold light, different from the ordinary transparent film yellow warm light, more natural and comfortable. SK20 high light transmittance film is A class non-combustible film material, and has sound absorption and noise reduction function (NRC=0.4 or so), especially suitable for public applications.
After the completion and operation of Hangzhou West Railway Station, it will light up the railway traffic network in west Zhejiang and North Zhejiang, and become the third largest transportation hub in Hangzhou besides Hangzhou East Railway Station and Xiaoshan Airport. It is of great significance to improve the comprehensive transportation level in west Hangzhou and facilitate the railway travel of residents in west Hangzhou. At that time, Hangzhou West Railway Station will connect Hangzhou-Nanjing, Shanghe-Hangzhou high-speed railway to the north, and directly to Nanjing and Hefei; To the south, it connects with Hang-Huang, Hang-Wen and Hang-Qu high-speed railways, and runs through 7 5A scenic spots and more than 50 4A scenic spots, forming a world-class golden tourism line. It is of great significance for Zhejiang to build a one-hour traffic circle in the province and promote connectivity in the Yangtze River Delta region by connecting with Shanghai and Hangzhou and opening up the new channel between Shanghai and Hangzhou in the east.
