Kenya Kipchoge Keino Stadium management team visited Wanhao Group to discuss cooperation on the East African sporting landmark.

Recently, the management team of Kenya's Kipchoge Keino Stadium visited Zhejiang Wanhao Group's production facilities for inspection and exchange. The group's chairman and relevant teams welcomed the visitors, and the two sides discussed large-scale membrane structure stadium projects to explore potential cooperation.

Located in Eldoret, Kenya, Kipchoge Keino Stadium is a key local symbolic sports facility. After upgrading, it will meet international competition standards and serve as a key training venue for the 2027 Africa Cup. The large-span membrane structure for its seating area, the core of the renovation, requires high-precision steel structure processing and membrane material fabrication.

Wanhao Group introduced its development, core technologies and overseas project experience to the visiting delegation, highlighted large sports venue steel membrane structure construction cases, and shared experience of similar overseas large outdoor venues.

The client clarified the construction progress, technical specifications and timeline requirements of Kipchoge Keino Stadium. The two sides discussed African highland climate, venue wind resistance, weather durability, overseas packaging and transportation, and held in-depth discussions on steel component processing, membrane material selection, production cycle, quality standards and ocean delivery.

After the meeting, the delegation visited steel structure and membrane structure processing workshops, inspected production processes, learned about large custom steel structure manufacturing and quality control systems, checked membrane material production and finished product testing, recognized Wanhao's standardized production and rigorous testing, confirmed its production capacity, and strengthened confidence in its technical expertise and quality control.

This cross-border inspection recognizes Zhejiang Wanhao Group's comprehensive capabilities and exemplifies China-Kenya infrastructure cooperation. Wanhao Group will continue leveraging its technical expertise in large-span steel and membrane structures, adhere to high manufacturing standards, expand the overseas large-scale public building market, contribute to East African modern sports facility construction and promote Chinese manufacturing globally.
