1. Connection between membrane and membrane

The space curved surface of cable film structure is made of many plane film material by cutting design and lap, film material width is small, sometimes can not reach the width required by the building, so the diaphragm needs to be connected by the joint to achieve the required width. The connection of membrane joints should be based on different membrane materials to choose different ways: one, bonding separation mode, poor durability, should not be used; Second, suture and mechanical connection, easy to form cross-section weakening, should be paid attention to when using, the impact of the external environment is greater; Three, thermal bonding mode, the main stress joint of the membrane material should be used for thermal bonding, which is also widely used at this stage.

2. Connection between membrane and flexible boundary

Membrane material and steel cable can be unilateral or bilateral connection. A simple connection is to insert the cable into a heat-bonded sheath. For important projects, aluminum alloy or stainless steel splints and connectors can be used to connect the film and steel cable.

3, film and rigid border connection

When the membrane material is directly placed on the main structural steel pipe or small steel pipe, it is necessary to check the free length of the membrane material and steel structure under wind load. When the membrane is detached from the steel structure under wind load, the surrounding steel structure and the membrane surface can meet the design requirements after the membrane is detached. That is, under 1/2 wind load, the length of membrane dissociation does not exceed 1/3 of the total length of steel structure. The design should be based on the local storm frequency of the project to allow the dissociation of the membrane surface and steel structure to be judged, if necessary, can be taken to fix the membrane and steel structure measures.
