PTFE Tension Structure Membrane Roofing for Liaocheng Joy Town Colorful Xiangyun

The Colorful Cloud Membrane Structure Project of Liaocheng Joy Town is located in Wanda Plaza, North Xiangjiang Road, Weiyu Road, Liaocheng City, Shandong Province. The design concept of the project follows the inverted umbrella shape of the Shanghai World Expo axis, with the largest umbrella covering an area of 8000 square meters. The project uses a total of 1500 tons of steel and has a membrane structure unfolding area of 30000 square meters. The structure of the project is super high and the overhang is super wide, making it a truly large-scale cable membrane structure combining steel, membrane, and cable.

Due to the project being located in the north and having a complex structure, it presents significant challenges for the design team, as well as greater construction work challenges for the construction team, facing a series of difficulties such as super height, super width, multi team coordination, and tight schedule.

Polytetrafluoroethylene, commonly known as PTFE, is renowned for its exceptional properties. It exhibits outstanding chemical resistance, capable of withstanding exposure to a wide range of chemicals except molten alkali metals and high-flow liquid fluorine. This makes it ideal for use in harsh chemical environments. Additionally, PTFE's non-stick surface ensures easy cleaning and maintenance, making it perfect for cookware coatings and industrial applications requiring low friction.

PTFE material also boasts excellent thermal stability, allowing it to operate within the temperature range of -200°C to 260°C without degrading. Its high impact strength even at low temperatures ensures durability and reliability in demanding applications. Furthermore, PTFE fabric has a long lifespan, often exceeding 25 years, and its self-cleaning surface reduces maintenance needs significantly. These properties make PTFE a versatile material used across various industries, including electrical, mechanical, and food processing.
