Congratulations to our company for winning the bid of ETFE Cable membrane structure project of Xi 'an Silk Road Tower. The project tower is 139.21 meters high, space steel structure consumption 3300 tons, ETFE color cable membrane structure 13,000 square meters, LED screen 2,000 square meters, after the completion of the construction belongs to the ancient Silk Road classic in western China.

The silk Road Tower is unique in shape and innovative, just like a ballet dancer dancing in the wind. Its overall structure is composed of four parts: tower, Mobius ring, skirt and ribbon.

The body of the tower is a tubular steel structure, the inner cylinder is composed of 10 vertical columns and horizontal beams arranged at equal spacing, and the outer cylinder is a two-way spiral interwoven diamond mesh curve spatial steel structure, resembling guangzhou small waist, presenting the amazing aesthetic effect of "slender waist, not fit a grip", which is also consistent with the Traditional Chinese aesthetic.

The top is shaped by 12 mobius ring curve strings, which are connected positively and negatively, inheriting from the top and the bottom, with smooth curves and full of movement. Although the form of connecting inside and outside comes from the West, it is similar to the eastern architectural spirit of unity of man and nature and Taoism of nature.

The skirt is arranged radially by plane truss with a diameter of 64.5 meters. The outer end of the truss is connected by ring beams with curve and rhythm transformation. The upper and lower surfaces are equipped with blue and white ETFE membrane structure, which is light and elegant.

The spiral space shaped ribbon is shaped by the internal and external hyperbolic strings, and the connecting steel structure is arranged between the strings, supplemented by the white ribbon ETFE film structure. The shape rises, hovered and spirals upward.

After completion, the Silk Road Tower will become the highest ETFE cable and membrane structure in China and a famous tourist landmark project in western China.
