Xi 'an Silk Road Tower ETFE cable membrane structure project is located in Fengxi New City, Xixian New District, Qindu District, Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province. The project tower 139.21 meters high, covers an area of 1017.88 square meters, membrane structure spread area of 15,000 square meters. The Silk Road Tower is unique in shape and creative, just like a ballet dancer dancing in the wind. Its overall structure consists of four parts: tower body, Mobius ring, skirt and streamer.

First, the important construction stage

The overall structure of I TOWER consists of four parts: tower body, Mobius ring, skirt and streamer. The skirt is arranged in plane truss radially with a diameter of 64.5 meters. The outer end of the truss is connected by curved and rhythmic ring beams. The upper and lower surfaces are matched with blue and white ETFE membrane structure, which is light and elegant. As an important part of the whole project, the skirt is also the soul, so the lifting and installation of the skirt is also regarded as an important construction stage of the whole project.

Ii. Overcoming important technologies

As a landmark building, I TOWER is as high as 139.21 meters. It is difficult to install the skirt and requires high precision. First, because the tower is high, the early assembly and welding of the skirt are carried out on the ground, so the precision requirement is a key difficulty; Second, after the welding, to choose the lifting point to lift, because the skirt is a cantilever structure, when lifting the need to pay attention to the selection of lifting points, and to ensure the synchronization of the points of lifting, there can be no error; Third, the tower is high, to overcome the influence of wind on the pull; Fourthly, part of the membrane structure trial installation is completed, because the wind influence is larger, the installation of the membrane is also a major challenge. Iii. Major progress nodes

Later, the formal installation of the cable membrane structure and the installation of the spiral space shaped ribbon has begun, indicating that the installation of the project has begun to enter the final stage, and the Happy World of Silk Road will also be a miracle.
