McTan-cebu International Airport is the second largest airport in the Philippines. To meet the increased passenger flow, the airport plans to build a new Terminal 2, which will replace Terminal 1 for international passenger flow. Upon completion of Terminal 2, Terminal 1 will operate as a domestic terminal building. The expanded facility is expected to elevate McTan-cebu International Airport from a city-level airport to a world-class international hub, serving as a gateway to the central Philippines.
