The main steel structure of Chongqing Longxing Football Stadium is topped

On August 18, with the hoisting of the last circumferential truss completed, the steel structure of the 14000 ton canopy was successfully capped, and the steel structure of Chongqing Longxing football field project was completed, setting the first speed of the construction of new venues for the 2023 Asian Cup. This is the first large scale professional football field built in Chongqing and one of the largest professional football fields under construction in China. Its design means "fire phoenix".

Chongqing Longxing football field project ETFE membrane structure project is constructed by us. Some roofing materials of the project are imported high self cleaning ETFE membrane materials, commonly known as "soft glass", with good light transmittance, light weight and good self-cleaning. The total expanded area of membrane structure of the project is 30000 square meters.

Chongqing Longxing football field will host the 2023 Asian Cup, and plans to introduce various international and domestic events to build Longxing new town into the city's football event center. Longxing football and sports town is planned to be built within 5 square kilometers around, supporting the construction of an urban functional complex integrating international events, national fitness, football youth training and Hotel Commerce.

Chongqing Longxing football field covers an area of about 303 mu, with a total construction area of about 170000 square meters. The plane of the steel roof of the football field is oval, the North-South projection is 283m long, the East-West width is 252m, and the maximum height of the roof is 59.5m. The total weight of the steel structure is 14000 tons, and the load-bearing form of cantilever steel truss + single layer curved bar on the facade is adopted. In order to meet the effect of simplicity and transparency of the building, 68 rectangular curved rods and a horizontal circular rod are used to form a single layer grid of the facade to provide multi-point support for the outer ring of the roof. Radial trusses and circumferential members are intertwined to weave the gorgeous appearance structure of the football field, and the prototype of the football field is ready to come out.

The length of the balance area of the steel canopy is 27m, and the maximum cantilever length of the internal main truss is 58m. The cantilevered part is located above the stand, and the installation height is up to 59.5m. The maximum single weight of a single truss is 55T, and the weight of a single steel column is 60T.

After 112 days and nights, the hoisting of 68 main steel structure trusses was completed. On average, the whole process of mobilization, assembly, hoisting and welding of each truss takes only one and a half days, 12 days ahead of the original plan.
