The Bay Stadium, also known as the Albert Stadium, is a new stadium that recently opened in Qatar and is one of eight stadiums for the 2022 Qatar World Cup. Plans for the Albert Stadium were proposed in 2014, and construction of the stadium began at the end of 2015, with the official opening on November 30, 2021.

Inspired by the bayt al sha 'ar, a Bedouin tent historically used by nomads in the Gulf, the course features a sadu pattern in honor of this traditional Qatari woven form.

The court features a state-of-the-art retractable roof that can be opened or closed in 20 minutes; The stadium is equipped with an air conditioning system that, along with a sun-shading roof, lowers the temperature inside the stadium, making it possible to play sports in Qatar's hot summer.

Located in the city of Hall, Qatar, 46 kilometers from the center of Doha, the stadium has a capacity of 60,000 people during the event. After the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, stadium capacity will be reduced and seating will be replanned. The upper part of the course will be converted into a shopping mall and a five-star hotel for the benefit of the Al Khor community.

Sustainability is at the heart of Albert Field. The course has received A Global Sustainability Assessment System (GSAS) five-star rating for design and construction, as well as an A rating for construction management. The course is the only one in the area that uses solar energy to power smart lights in the parking lot and surrounding parks, as well as a wireless network. Sustainability is at the heart of the stadium and has been integrated into every aspect of the stadium."
