The inner roof employs innovative structural cable systems centered around 128 sets of single-layer radial cable roof mesh, which are relatively rare in China. This design not only creates an extremely lightweight visual impression, resembling the delicacy of a cicada’s wing, but also ensures the structure’s exceptional stability. Together, these elements define a transparent and majestic aerial silhouette.

Additionally, the ETFE air cushion membrane can effectively block some of the heat generated by the sun’s rays, helping to regulate the temperature in the seating areas and enhancing the comfort of the spectators. This membrane material also boasts several other advantages, including its light weight, impact resistance, strong weather resistance, and excellent self-cleaning properties.

The lighting system of this building integrates network cable with diffused lighting fixtures, and utilizes textured ETFE membrane materials to create a uniform, soft, and luxurious lighting effect. The system can be effortlessly switched between various lighting modes, producing dynamic visual effects such as “sparkling ripples” and “flowing colors,” perfectly matching the atmospheric requirements of different sports events and cultural activities.

With the iconic cable roof structures successfully closed, the stadium has now fully entered the phase of interior decoration and sports-related construction. The other venues are also making rapid progress in their development.
