The Winter Olympics Ice Project Training Center on Saihanba

At 2 pm on August 11, the Saihanba National Ice Project Training Center project undertaken by Beijing Urban Construction North Group successfully completed the overall roof grid roofing. 54 sets of special hydraulic jacking equipment jointly "powered", weighing 1,260 tons The "steel giant" of China rose up in the sub-plateau.

Hebei Chengde Saihanba National Ice Project Training Center is a key project supporting the National Winter Olympics. Located in the sub-plateau area with an average altitude of 1,500 meters, it is the country's first "four-in-one" comprehensive venue integrating avenues, patterns, short tracks and curling.

Since the beginning of June, all the construction personnel have completed the splicing work of the 234m×81m super-large grid frame on schedule with more than 2,000 bolt balls and more than 8,000 rods for more than 40 days and nights, ensuring the successful realization of the overall jacking of the roof grid.
