PTFE Textile Roof Tensile for Kenya National Sports Center

The Nairobi (Africa Cup) National Sports Center in Kenya PTFE roof tensile and steel structure renovation construction from WANHAO.

The Kenya National Sports Center is the largest comprehensive sports center in Africa, covering an area of approximately 100 hectares with a total area of 87000 square meters. It has a FIFA standard professional football field that can accommodate 60000 people.

The renovation construction of the football field is currently underway, with Wanhao mainly undertaking the steel membrane structure canopy. The main structure is a large-span, cantilevered spatial steel structure, with a main truss overhanging 45 meters and a horizontal connection arching upwards. The roof is made of high self-cleaning PTFE membrane, and the open sports stadium has a spacious and unobstructed view inside.
