PTFE Membrane Canopy for Serbia National Garden Football Stadium in Serbia

Multiple levels within the stadium are covered with green vegetation, reflecting Serbia’s natural landscape. The stadium will also meet the standards required for international top-level events.

The stadium’s roof utilizes a PTFE membrane structure, which boasts high strength, excellent weather resistance, strong self-cleaning properties, and fire-resistant and flame-retardant characteristics. Additionally, this system allows natural light to be evenly distributed throughout the interior to make stadium like a garden grennhouse, reducing the need for artificial lighting during the day and creating a bright and conducive environment for watching events.

This structure achieves the cable design objectives of “large span and light self-weight” through a cable mesh system made of high-strength steel cables and PTFE canopy membrane . Its lightweight nature not only reduces the structure’s own weight and the pressure it exerts on the foundation but also provides excellent seismic resistance, allowing for greater flexibility in the layout of the space beneath it. With precise mechanical calculations and tensioning, the structure possesses the stability and safety required to withstand extreme weather conditions.
