Shandong Penglai Stadium PTFE Membrane Structure Project

The Penglai Stadium in Shandong is located in the Penglai Demonstration Area of the Yantai Yellow Sea and Bohai Sea New District. The stadium covers an area of approximately 200 mu, with a total construction area of 56,000 square meters. Designed with the concept of “floating fairy island,” the stadium utilizes optimized keel structures and modular assembly techniques using hyperbolic aluminum panels. Its main structure is formed by continuous curved surfaces, while the roof is completed with a double-layer PTFE membrane stretched over a 42,500-square-meter streamlined dome. The dynamic curves of the dome reflect the waves of the Yellow Sea.
