The BYD Shaoxing Shengzhou Racing Track features a design that combines high-speed racing with natural landscapes. The viewing platform atop the sandy slope serves as a symbolic element of the track, fulfilling requirements for functionality, visual impact, and ecological harmony. The design draws inspiration from the sandwaves and wind patterns created by racing cars. With its steel structure providing rigidity and membrane material creating a soft, natural texture, the structure resembles undulating sand dunes. This design not only reflects the speed-oriented aesthetics of the racetrack but also provides spectators with a comfortable space shaded from the sun and rain. The PTFE membrane covering of this structure spans over 30,000 square meters.
